I do have the original VHS that along with VCRs at the time were as new a technology as Blu-ray is now the footage in that release of the film is as it appears in this video. so here we go 1. It was not a body 2. Proper grammar is Hanged not hung 3. there is no nor was there ever a hanging munchkin 4. there were no munchkins on set that day because the munchkin land scene was not filmed for several weeks after this scene was shot period bottom line end of story

exactly.if a munchkin did hang themself wouldnt people stop to think that they would have stopped the scene.and wouldn't like the actors notcie that someone killed themself?really the lollipop kid was right are they stupid?

Why would someone who didn't get a part be on the set (and a closed one, mind you) after filming started and they would've long since been told to get lost? Not to mention anyone who'd kill themselves over not getting a film role wouldn't last a week in Hollywood...LOL

It actually is a body... oncee the film makers noticed it a few years later they edited it into a bird, so if you have an original film then you can see the man who HUNG not hanged himself.

It's a big bird. If you watch the whole video and look real close you can tell that it's a big bird. Like an emu or something.
